I really like this dental office. The staff is very kind, considerate, and comforting and I also feel like they go above and beyond. Reagan was the best dental hygienist. She was very thorough and made me feel very comfortable sitting in the chair. I don't remember ever having another dental office pull my tongue out of my mouth to check for abnormalities. I appreciated this a lot for myself but also it makes me feel better sending my brother to them because he is special needs and non verbal. So I love knowing that they will be checking him as well. Reagan even gave me sunglasses during my visit, which was awesome because I get uncomfortable being too close to people. The sunglasses were comforting and I know they will be comforting for my special needs brother as well. Dr. Ryan spent a lot of time with me talking me through by concerns. He seemed to really care and was very knowledgeable. Nice to like both my dentist and hygienist. Reagan and Dr. Ryan made a great team! I will be sending my entire family to them.

I just moved to Charleston from it of state and had an emergency dental situation. I was very stressed because I hadn't had a chance to find a new provider yet Robinson Family Dental got me in the same day I called. I was pleasantly surprised at how timely they were with seeing me on time for my appointment, especially since I was a new patient. The doctor and staff were very friendly and caring. While my appointment was short and my interaction was limited, I was very pleased with my experience and would return for further dental care.

My family recently relocated to the North Charleston, (Hanahan area), and in need of a check up and diagnosis of persistent pain radiating from the area of my right rear molars, Robinson Family Dentistry was recommended to me by a neighbor. Dr. Ryan Robinson immediately identified cracks and small cavities which had formed around an old filling in one of my lower molars as well as a crack in my upper molar. Dr. Robinson developed a plan of treatment to repair my molars in two office visits in less than two weeks and I am happy to write I am pain free and able to eat normally again. It's a really pleasant place , especially to be a dentist office. I went in nervous and in just a matter of minutes I settled down. Real friendly staff. The dentist is very thorough and explains everything. So you have complete understanding of your situation. On my second trip. I had a tooth extracted. Did not feel the needle during the numbing process. Nor did I feel any pain during the extraction. This is a top notch dentist office and they have late appointments. Which keep me from having to miss any work. A long with reasonable prices. Can't say enough good things about this dental office.

Robinson family dentist took the time to try to figure out the root of my issue! They did several tests to check my sensitivity and found my problem or at least a start to fixing it. I had been in pain for 2.5 months about and for the first time I feel like I may get an answer and start fixing the pain that was caused! It was just my first appointment but everyone was friendly!! I loved that Dr. Ryan Robinson went through the X-rays and explained everything to me. I felt part of the process and included instead of just trusting that what was said was right. I felt that was super important after my last dentistry experience. I am finally hopeful to get my issues resolved! Thank you!!
I once again was having emergency trouble with tooth pain, and they were able to schedule me to come in on the same day I called. They also offer a discount on services for those who aren't insured, and their regular office visit prices can't be beat. This is a wonderful dentistry office with absolutely awesome people there who really seem to care & want to help as much as they can.

This was my first time EVER at Robinson Family Dentistry, and I had chosen to go to them based on reviews here, and everyone was absolutely 10000000% on point about how great this place and the people here are! I was having a serious dental issue and was in immense pain, and they were able to see me that very day, and Dr. Hugh was soooo wonderful and helpful and was able to not only tell AND show me what was actually going on in/with my tooth (dental technology has really advanced a lot since I was last at the dentist! 😂🤯), he was also able to give me options on what I can do regarding this whole issue and he was able to help alleviate my pain!!! 😍😍😍 I was also only charged a very nominal amount for the whole visit, as I am without any sort of insurance coverage currently. I can't even BEGIN to express my gratitude towards Robinson Family Dentistry!!! They are truly fantastic and are most definitely the kind of people who make you believe in the good of humanity again. 🥰

This is such a great practice! My husband and I were referred to them by friends at church. Dr. Hugh and Dr. Ryan are the best dentists we have ever had. We moved lots in the ministry so we saw many dentists. This father son team is skilled, compassionate, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The hygienists are wonderful too as well as Stephanie, the office manager.

First let me say I don't have dental insurance so I am a cash customer. I broke a molar where there was an old silver filling leaving a sharp edge which was tearing up my tongue something terrible. Made an appointment to see what we could do about it and as usual with my luck there was an outage of the offices high speed drill compressor which occured just before my appointment. To perform the restoration properly the high speed drill was necessary so we were in a pickel. Fortunately Dr. Ryan Robinson got creative and was able to restore the tooth aliviating my discomfort and stopping the damage being done to my tongue using the low speed drill leaving the old silver filling in place. Understanding that I will probably have to have that old filling replaced in the future to complete the restoration I was only charged a simple exam fee. This is classic old school creative patient care you just don't see very often these days and very generous for only charging for an exam. Highly recommend this practice! This was my first experience with Dr. Ryan Robinson which was awesome! In the past I have always been well cared for by his Dad Dr. Hugh Robinson and now I have 2 dentist I can trust to provide me with great care.

I am 69 years old and have therefore been serviced by dentists and dental professionals for quite a while; with most of my visits consisting of me white-knuckled, holding desperately to the arms of the torture chair.Today I had probably my best dental cleaning experience ever at Robinson Family Dentistry. Usually when I go for a doctor’s visit there are volumes of paperwork to complete. But today when I checked in the receptionist handed me a clipboard containing a summary of facts from my last completed form for review. It was simple and over with in 2 minutes. I wish all doctors practiced this simple courtesy. When it was my time in the chair the dental hygienist came out to the waiting room and escorted me back to her work area. She sat me down and talked to me for about 5 minutes and made me feel so at ease that I completely forgot I was at the dentist’s office. She was very professional, had the deftest touch; and at one point even let me operate the sucker tube while she worked on some stubborn plaque. Then the dentist, young Dr. Robinson, came in to check my teeth. He was pleased, both with my at home dental care and the work of his hygienist. In summary: I highly recommend Robinson Family Dentistry. I have been a patient there for about 2 years. I have seen both Dr. Robinsons. They and their entire staff are top notch; and are the best dental team I have ever experienced.

My dentist dr. Robinson was very proficient very gentle and took very little time to do my dental work. My tooth has broken in half and he rebuilt the whole tooth and it doesn't even look like a fake tooth looks real I'm very proud that I can smile again thank you. Highly recommended. Thorough care, they always take that "extra step". Drs. Ryan and Hugh Robinson continue to operate a patient centered family dental practice. I find both to be knowledgeable, skilled and proactive with my dental care. They come highly recommended. New visit to the office regarding implant bases surgery. Dr, Robinson had consulted with his staff regarding the application of three base devices for the implant procedure. Dr. Robinson and crew were kind to check with me during the 3 hr process. Checking for discomfort, any additional pain. All went and without a hitch. Dr. Robinson was pleased with the surgery procedure and post surgery clean up. I departed with some slight swelling and discomfort but it was to be expected. My follow up will be in two weeks! A follow up since the earlier posting. My implants were placed 4 months ago. I am 100% pleased with the long term services I have received from Drs. Hugh & Ryan Robinson. Their exacting professionalism is assuring. Their consummate attention to patient care, comfort and lasting satisfaction is paramount. My great appreciation to each doctor and to their dedicated staff.

I’m new to the area and I have been here twice. Both times the staff has been extremely friendly and explained everything into detail for me. The place is very clean and I would highly recommended to anyone. I have really sensitive teeth and when they cleaned my teeth it was not rough or anything. The dentist even gave me a ton of free samples of sensitive enamel building toothpaste I should try.
I found the entire staff at Robinson Family Dental to be warm, friendly and very professional. Dr. Ryan Robinson was very patient and allowed me to ask many questions answering all of them. I highly recommend Robinson Family Dentistry.

This is the best place to go for dental care in my opinion. I am in the middle of an abscess in my gums and all week having some of the worst pain of my life. I called the office and told them my situation and not only did they fit me in the schedule today, they were willing to see me even though I had a bill that I couldn't pay until tomorrow. This tells me that they care about their patients more than the money and I personally don't want to go anywhere else for my dental care. Also, they are really great about making sure you are as comfortable as possible, and everyone there is super friendly and nice. I have really bad anxiety about going to the dentist but having one like this really helps make me feel better about it. Thank you for being so understanding and caring.
Dr. Hugh Robinson's practice makes going to the dentist as enjoyable an experience as possible. The staff, including the front desk and hygienist, and especially Dr. Robinson, all all very friendly and sociable and always ask about the family and how things are before getting started with their very professional treatment, which is always appreciated.
This is a father and son practice and they both seem to have a loyal and committed following. This is the first dentist I haven't absolutely dreaded going to. Dr. Ryan Robinson and entire staff are friendly and professional.
I told them I had a toothache and the fit me in 2 hrs later and took care of me. Great place. I never felt like they were screwing me. They actually needed to take xrays and my insurance wouldnt cover it so they did them at no cost.

What this means to me is that this dental practice is more concerned about the health of my mouth than doing unnecessary work. I so appreciate the great service I get along with the caring attitude of all the staff. I would highly recommend this dental practice.

Just left my first appointment a couple hours ago, and I can't say enough great things about Robinson Family Dentistry. After avoiding the dentist for years I finally broke down and made an appointment. They had me in the SAME day! Everyone was so nice and did everything possible to make me comfortable and the process fast. I was so impressed that I made appointments for the rest of my family as well. I've been in Charleston since last May without having a new dentist, had a tooth that was bothering me over a week and found Dr. Robinson online. I called when they opened and explained my situation and was seen the same day! Tatiana was very nice and helpful and Dr Ryan quickly determined after looking at an X-ray I needed a root canal. He referred me to a specialist due to my situation and I'm doing great now! Thanks Dr. Drew! Will definitely come back for a teeth cleaning...

I love that this is a family business, and I love how friendly everyone is! I have been to dentists in the past where every time I went in, it seemed like they wanted to do some expensive work. Here, I have been several times to get my teeth cleaned without them telling me that I need some fillings. 😁 The last place I went always came up with several things I needed done.
